THE DIAMOND HEAD
The diamond mace head is one of the unique symbols of
St.Sylvesters’ band culture. Once the sunlight is reflected by twelve different
faces of the diamond with sharp and whirlwind movements of the band leader, it
adds a magnificent glowing which is unique to watch.
This mace head can only be seen in St.Sylvesters’ Cadet Band
in Sri Lanka. In the top of the diamond there is a crown which is similar to
the crown of the college emblem.
